The aim of this module is to enable you to develop consultation and physical examination skills related to specific body systems across the lifespan. The module will be of relevance to health care professionals working with patients across the full age spectrum.

You will need to complete an induction prior to commencement of your first module. We have a comprehensive online induction package to welcome you to both the University and your programme of study. Alternatively classroom-based induction days take place at our Lancaster campus and are usually scheduled for the first week of each semester.

NB: The virtual module only runs in September.

The running of this module is dependent on there being sufficient numbers of interest.

Graduate destinations

Having completed this module you may wish to bring these credits (at level 6 only) into the University Advanced Diploma (UAD) Practice Development: Long Term Conditions or Emergency Care. Please discuss this opportunity with the module leader before completion of this module.

Alternatively, you may wish to use this module towards a degree such as the BSc (Hons) Nursing Practice.
