This module aims to enable you to develop a critical understanding of the manager's role in relation to the effective management and use of information, information technology and information systems within health and social care settings.

You will need to complete an induction prior to commencement of your first module. We have a comprehensive online induction package to welcome you to both the University and your programme of study. Alternatively classroom-based induction days take place at our Lancaster and Carlisle campuses and are usually scheduled for the first week of each semester.

The running of this module is dependent on there being sufficient numbers of interest.

Graduate destinations

This module can be taken on a stand-alone basis or as a module within the UAD or BSc (Hons) Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care. The module can also be taken as part of our BSc (Hons) Practice Development award.
