Plus, you’ll improve the core competencies essential to your career, including how to improve patients’ experience during a consultation and compiling treatment plans for a range of issues.

This is an exciting programme of study which, on successful completion, allows students to seek to have their qualification recorded by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and to practise as an Independent Nurse Prescriber (V300).

The module is designed for registered nurses wishing to embark on a career in general practice or for existing practice nurses who may wish to benchmark their existing competency. The module aims to support work based learning that is practice focussed.
