What happens at interview
Interviews, auditions and offers
Arts and humanities
We interview/audition for most courses in this subject area.
The format varies but may include one or more elements of the following:

Group sessions

Formal interview

Portfolio review where relevant

Audition for performance courses.
Please note that interviews BA(Hons) Drama at Lancaster do not include an audition.
Education courses
We interview for all undergraduate and PGCE teaching courses and FDA Teaching and Learning Support.
The format of these interviews varies by course but may include some or all of the following elements:

Group sessions
-
Written test.
Healthcare courses
We interview for all full-time undergraduate nursing pre-registration courses, Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Radiography, Occupational Therapy and Social Work as well as Masters degrees in Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Physiotherapy.
The format of these interviews varies by course but may include some or all of the following elements:

Policing
Interviews for FDSc Policing include a formal interview and PIR Test.

Most of our performance courses select applicants through audition and interview.
For some of our courses we make an offer based on your application alone.
