Anne Wallhouse

Biography

I am a full-time lecturer in Midwifery at University of Cumbria. I started in April 2024. 

I am a qualified midwife with over 20 years post registration experience. I previously worked as Maternity Matron (overseeing low risk birth centre and community midwifery) at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Trust. Prior to that I was community midwifery manager and community midwife. I am dual trained and undertook nurse training at Kings College Hospital London prior to Midwifery training in Ashford. I completed my Masters at Lancaster University in 2022.
