Biography

I am a diagnostic radiographer and at various times have worked as theatres and mobiles lead, specialist radiographer in interventional radiology, specialist radiographer in cardiac cath labs and clinical tutor to undergraduate radiography students.

Training and mentoring has always been a key interest of mine, and as clinical tutor I built up some great relationships with the Medical Imaging department here at the University of Cumbria.  This led to me joining the university in January 2021 to help develop (and then lead) the Diagnostic Radiography Apprenticeship programme.  As well as leading this apprenticeship programme I teach on BSc Diagnostic Radiography and the Assistant Practitioner apprenticeship programme.
