It's not too late to apply for student funding. If you've got a place at the University of Cumbria through clearing and haven't applied for student finance yet, we show you how to apply.

First Time Applicants

If you haven’t already applied for student finance, it’s best you do so as soon as possible. The Student Loans Company will do what they can to make sure you get some of your student finance as close to the start of term as possible, but the sooner you apply, the sooner they can act, so don’t delay starting your application.

Apply for student finance

Already Applied?

Got your placement at the University of Cumbria and applied for your funding? Fantastic! Now that you’ve finished the clearing process, you just need to update your online student finance profile with your new details.

On the University/College part of your finance profile, simply input the codes for the University of Cumbria (C99) and the course you will be studying (this can be found on the course’s page on this website). Remember to update this by the 1st September, or your funding may be delayed.

Changing Course or University?

If you’ve changed your course, or you’re transferring from a different university, then you need to update your student finance application as soon as possible. Simply log onto your online finance profile, where you can make changes through the My Account menu, and update with the correct information. You’ll soon receive an updated Student Support Notification letter confirming your changes.

Remember, if you’re having trouble with anything regarding your student financing, call the Student Loans Company on 0300 100 0607, or if you’d prefer to contact us directly, just send an e-mail to moneyadvice@cumbria.ac.uk
