We understand how important it is to support your students with their next steps. Our range of talks and workshops for sixth form and college students aim to provide information, advice and guidance at different stages of the cycle. Our team can deliver these sessions in school/college or virtually, and some may also be relevant to parents/carers.

Study Skills Workshop
This interactive workshop aims to teach students about key study skills and motivate them to consider more effective strategies. We discuss note taking systems, mastering memory techniques and time management.

Student Finance
This session focuses on all things Student Finance, including what students could be entitled to with a Tuition Fee and Maintenance Loan. We advise students on how to apply, discuss how student loans will be repaid once they graduate and consider additional support that may be available to them such as scholarships and bursaries.

Interview Techniques Workshop
This interactive workshop introduces students to the different types of interviews that they may encounter for different courses. It encourages students to prepare and shows them how they might go about doing this. They end the session asking each other questions in a mini-mock interview.

Personal Statements Workshop
This hands-on workshop has been restructured for the 2026 entry changes and provides specific guidance for completing each section of the personal statement. We provide students with a selection of different activities to provide them with a starting point for their writing.

In this session, we introduce students and/or parents/carers to UCAS and what to expect throughout the application process. We discuss the UCAS timeline and provide students with advice on how to conduct their own research into universities and courses.
