Event Overview
Our programme is delivered as a fully online distance learning provision, allowing you to pursue your studies part-time and at your convenience. You have the flexibility to take this programme as a stand-alone qualification or alongside part-time employment. By completing this programme, you will attain a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (without the QTS element). This award is highly recognised in a wide range of educational settings.
The programme consists of two modules that will enable you to critically analyse learning and teaching practices. In doing so, you will gain knowledge and understanding of the key theories of learning and teaching, as well as the ability to reflect on their practical application in your chosen setting.
The modules are delivered in a highly interactive and engaging manner, through the advanced VLE Blackboard site. You’ll have the opportunity to connect and become part of a vast learning community, expanding your network, and collaborating with like-minded people. Learning will be supported by a wide range of social media tools.
