Biography

I am currently seconded to the roles of Principal Lecturer for the Paramedic Apprenticeship and to the Innovation team both in the Institute of health. When not on secondment, I am a Senior Lecturer working with the South East Coast team. I module lead the Preparing the Professional Practitioner module and lead on recruitment. As a Principal Lecturer I lead the teams working with a strategic overview both on the Paramedic Apprenticeships and the bridging courses. I continue to lecture and enjoy teaching leadership and ethics.

I am still registered as a paramedic and have been practicing for over 10 years within South East Coast Ambulance Service. In this service I worked as a Clinical Team Leader and within Clinical Education as a Practice Placement Lead whilst continuing to work front line.

I am on the final stages of completing my MA Education with my dissertation focusing on Apprentice identity within the higher education setting.
