Biography
I am a non-practising solicitor with 13 years' experience in Litigation and Dispute Resolution. I have historically worked for international law firm Eversheds LLP and local firms Burnetts and Napthens LLP. I have spent time working 'in-house' with the Department of Health's Central Contract Management Unit in London.
My main area of expertise is Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. Within that area of law I specialise in contractual and property related disputes.
My route into law was non-traditional. I completed an MA(hons) at Edinburgh University in Social Anthropology. I then completed the Postgraduate Legal Diploma and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law (now the University of Law) in York.
I trained in Bristol before moving back north again upon qualification.
