Welcome to your course

Welcome to the Performing Arts family at the University of Cumbria. We hope that you will have a fantastic, fun filled, challenging and exciting three years with us.

By the time you arrive the senior students will be in rehearsal for their first productions of the year, so you will be launched straight into the culture of the department. Third years will already be looking for people to work on their original performances. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in the vibrant artistic culture of the performance courses.

Everything about your course will be fully explained during the welcome week. Welcome week is about getting to know your new classmates and your lecturers.

Pre-course Preparation

Being fit and healthy will allow you to cope with the demands of the course more effectively so spend some time exercising and building up your resistance to the pesky Freshers Flu.
