Safe learning at university

Keeping our students, staff and community safe.

Following the latest Government announcement and a return to national lockdown on Monday 4 January, we have had to amend some of our plans relating to students' return for the new term.

The Minister of State for Universities, Michelle Donelan MP has issued a letter to students fully explaining the new changes which can be found here.

In line with the latest guidance, a limited number of programmes have been allowed to resume face-to-face teaching on-campus study and/or professional placement from 4 January, the remainder of our teaching will be delivered online. You can read more about the key changes from the new Department for Education guidance here.

Our on-campus testing programme remains to support a safe return to university and asymptomatic testing for those who are showing no Covid-19 symptoms is available for all our students and staff.

Please continue to check your university email accounts, relevant Blackboard pages, the university website and social media for the latest information.
