Inspiring Future Nurses

The University of Cumbria's new Nursing Masterclass "Inside the Theatre: A Patient's Surgical Journey" provides attendees with a step-by-step exploration of the patient experience within surgical theatres, highlighting multidisciplinary teamwork, clinical process and safety protocols that guide a patient from the beginning of surgery to their recovery post-op.

Developed and delivered by our experienced academic staff from the Institute of Health, this masterclass is designed to provide students with the essential knowledge, skills and experiences to empower them to become successful future nurses.

Suitable for: Students in year 12/13 (or Level 3 Year 1 & 2 or equivalent)
