Biography

I had my Barchelors in Business Management at university of Jos, MSc in Purchasing and Supply Chain at Robert Gordon University Aberdeen and I am currently undertaking my Doctorate in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at Newcastle University Business School. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA). Also, I have 10+ years of experience – covering the academia and private sector, possessing a strong teaching background and solid experience in managing and coordinating student learning programmes where I have consistently demonstrated excellent teaching expertise that fosters students’ critical skills leading to a significantly improved performance. Over the years, I have led management workshops/modules on Strategic Management, Financial Management and Supply Chain Management at the University of Jos (Nigeria), Operations & Strategy Management at Newcastle University Business School (Newcastle University), Developing Human Capabilities and Leadership in Project management, Project Management Tools and Technique, Project Management Professional Development at Solent University.
I speak frequently at top international conferences on topics that impact businesses, sustainability and the broader society. I am currently a member of international professional networks; the British Academy of Management (BAM), the European Operations Management Association (EurOMA), Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), Teaching and Education Research Association (TERA) Eurasia, Society for Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), Chartered Management Institute (CMI), Association for Project Management (APM).
