Biography

Paul is responsible for leading the growth of enterprise and innovation across the university, working to support the service in responding to the needs of the sub-regional economy, helping the university shape their response to higher level skills needs in Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Paul has been with the university since 2014 and comes with 18 years of local economic development experience, supporting regeneration and business growth in rural Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Experience includes managing externally funded investment projects, operating business centres and visitor centres, town centre master planning and collaborative work with universities on sector skills for the local economy.
