Biography

Howard Foster PGCE, MBA, BSc (Engineering) is a Senior lecturer at the University of  Cumbria and an experienced primary teacher.  Prior to working in Education, he gained experience in heavy engineering as an assembler and designer of cranes and large structural projects before moving into the design and production management of leading edge high volume safety products within the automotive safety industry where he obtained several global patents that were subsequently put into production in motor vehicles worldwide.  He has also had a design feature on the BBC design awards TV program.
