Biography
I graduated in 2000 from South Bank University with a degree in Social Policy and embarked on a career in marketing communications. I worked for a handful of network operating companies within HAVAS and WPP as well as a start-up. My notable clients were Ford, RBS and Kellogg’s.
In 2016 I made a career change from marketing after becoming tired of years of ‘driving shareholder value’ and joined SECAmb as a Make Ready Operative. I then progressed through the internal paramedic programme – which I now teach on – to become a registered paramedic.
I currently work at University of Cumbria as a Clinical Lecturer after having been an Associate Lecturer in 2025. I am still a practicing frontline paramedic with SECAmb.
I’m a keen cricketer, exercise enthusiast and lover of the countryside.
