After qualifying as a physiotherapist from the University of Cumbria, I began working in the NHS completing my core rotations and later specialising in MSK outpatient physiotherapy. In 2015 I qualified as a Clinical Pilates Instructor and shortly afterwards, I began teaching Pilates classes to a clinical population.

In 2016, I opened my own private physiotherapy clinic and clinical Pilates studio in Carlisle and worked in the private sector for several years before taking up my role as a physiotherapy lecturer.
