Associate Professor wins prize for her new book on Beatrix Potter
Dr Penny Bradshaw, Associate Professor of English Literature, has won The Wordsworth Prize for Literature and Poetry at the Lakeland Book of the Year Awards for her recent book, An A-Z of Beatrix Potter. The book was also runner up for the overall Lakeland Book of the Year.
The awards ceremony took place at The George Hotel in Penrith on 7 July 2026 and the Wordsworth Prize was handed over to Penny by Jeff Cowton MBE, former Principal Curator and Head of Learning at Wordsworth Grasmere.
