Biography
Dr Sunny Kalsy-Lillico is Chief Psychological Professions Officer at Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust and a Consultant Practitioner Psychologist. She is passionate about helping people to grow, flourish, and realise their potential, and believes that strong relationships, compassion, and inclusion are at the heart of meaningful change. . With over 30 years’ experience in working across healthcare, higher education, academia and professional leadership, Sunny brings together education, research, and practice to create opportunities for people and communities to thrive.
Alongside her NHS role, Sunny serves as Chair of the NHS England Psychological Professions Network (Midlands), Chair of the Integrated Care Board Faculty for Psychological Professions, and as a National Assessor for the British Psychological Society. As an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with a clinical background in disabilities and ageing, she has a particular interest in workforce development, psychological therapies, leadership, and creating inclusive cultures where people feel valued, supported, and able to achieve their potential.
