Biography
Jacqueline Cumberland is a senior risk and governance professional with more than 25 years' experience in international banking and financial services. She currently serves as a Subject Matter Expert in Operational Risk in DNB Bank ASA, Norway’s largest bank, where she advises senior leadership on risk management, governance and internal
control across complex, multi-jurisdictional operations. Over the course of her career, she has held senior operational risk leadership roles with DNB and ANZ Banking Group, leading enterprise risk frameworks, regulatory compliance programmes and organisational transformation initiatives. She brings extensive expertise in risk, audit, assurance and governance, together with a strong commitment to constructive
challenge and organisational resilience. Born and raised in Cumbria, Jacqueline completed her university education later in life whilst working full-time and is passionate about widening participation and creating opportunities through education.
