Kelly Powell the programme leader for the Teaching and Learning degrees and Education Studies degrees. Kelly is an English and phonics senior lecturer on undergraduate and post graduate initial teacher training programmes, and is a campus safeguarding officer. Before coming to the University, Kelly was a primary school teacher for fourteen years. During this time she held various responsibilities including subject leader for English, Phonics and PSHE.
