Nicole Lees

Biography

With considerable police experience, former Detective Sergeant Nicole Lees has worked in a variety of roles including the management of dangerous and sexual offenders, modern slavery/human trafficking, the prevention of child exploitation, and covert operations for which she received a bravery award.

Now a lecturer in Security, Intelligence and Investigation, and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Nicole brings valuable expertise in operational decision making, safeguarding and risk management, as well as specific skills including Investigative Interviewing.

Nicole is passionate about promoting open communication, supportive practice and ongoing collaboration, in a strive for real cultural change.
