Biography

I achieved my BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography degree at the University of Wales, Bangor in 2007.

Entering the world of Radiography in my first post at Salford Royal Hospital, I gained an abundance of experience with Trauma imaging and theatre in general x-ray before moving into Angiography, CT and MRI. My interest in Neuro imaging and pathology was established at this trust.

I moved onto The Royal Lancaster infirmary in 2012 as a CT/MRI Radiographer. I continued to develop my skills and conducted audits to ensure our protocols and technique evolved with the improving technology and scanning capabilities. I am trained in CT colonography and have run my own lists for many years, I pride myself in the care I provide.

My role within apprenticeships includes being a personal tutor, cross-sectional radiography in CT and MRI. I teach anatomy, imaging and pathology and I am module lead for the FRP pathway on the top-up apprenticeship program.

Lecturing in the profession I love and have great pride in is an honour and I look forward to providing the support, knowledge, and encouragement to the new generation of radiographers.
