Biography
Mr. Samuel Lewis Brennan is a lecturer of chemistry whose work focuses on the design and synthesis of organic dyes with therapeutic potential. With a background in organic and medicinal chemistry, he develops dye-based compounds aimed at practical medical and industrial applications.
A key focus of Sam’s research is addressing the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. By utilising the photophysical properties of organic molecules to induce bactericidal effects, his work bridges fundamental chemical research and real-world pharmaceutical needs, contributing to the development of next-generation antimicrobial strategies.
