The University of Cumbria's appointment as a founding member of the Defence Universities Alliance (DUA) is national recognition of our growing contribution to defence-focused education, research and workforce development.
As one of just 35 universities selected, we will work alongside government, industry and defence partners to help develop the skills, innovation and talent needed to secure the UK’s future.
Our selection places us at the heart of this national effort, giving us the opportunity to help shape the future of defence education from within.
