Developed and delivered by our experienced academic and support staff from the Institute of Education, Arts and Society and the Outreach Team, this programme is designed to empower students with the essential knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to become successful future teachers.

Part 1: Attend an on-campus discovery day
Choose from:
- Lancaster Campus: Monday, 3rd June 2024
- Carlisle Fusehill Street Campus: Tuesday, 4th June 2024
- London Campus: Wednesday, 5th June 2024
Part 2: Attend a practice interview session
- Thursday, 20th June 2024. Further information will be provided on the discovery day.

- Knowlege on teaching strategies: An on-campus introduction to teaching strategies via interactive sessions delivered by a university with over 100 years' experience of training the teaching workforce.

- Interview preparation: Develop interview skills through a practice interview in a supportive environment, guided by our dedicated Course Tutors.
- Certification: Upon completion, receive a Future Teachers Programme Certificate.
- UCAS Advantage: Students who attend and then go on to apply for a teaching course at the University of Cumbria teacher will be eligible for a 16 UCAS Points reduction*.
- Primary Education and Early Years (3-11) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
