Cumbria Global Game Jam 2024

The University of Cumbria becomes one of the global hubs participating in Global Game Jam 2024!

Exciting news for all game-making enthusiasts! Our Cumbria Game Jam 24, hosted by our BA Games Design team at the University of Cumbria, will be returning this year as part of the world's largest game creation event - the annual official Global Game Jam, launching on Monday 22nd January 2024.

This year, we are introducing a hybrid site. On-site participation is exclusively for the University of Cumbria students and invite-only groups, but we are also supporting online participation for anyone interested in taking part through our official Discord Community.

The event is aimed around the idea of gathering together, being creative, sharing experiences and expressing yourself in a multitude of ways using video games.

Get ready to unleash your creativity and be part of this exciting gaming event!
