How do I log in to Pure?

What is the connection between Pure and the University of Cumbria’s research portal?

University of Cumbria’s research portal (www.research.cumbria.ac.uk) is the publicly visible web portal (front end) for Pure data. Any record with a ‘Public’ visibility setting in Pure (profile, publication or other) will be visible to any member of the public viewing the research portal. Please be aware that, when any information is added or amended in Pure, it will be visible in the portal just a few seconds after the record has been saved.

How do I change my name/title/job title in Pure?

Certain profile information is not editable in Pure because it is sourced from another system. Your name, title and job title are all sourced from the University’s HR system and updated every evening in a nightly sync of the two systems. If any of this information is incorrect, please contact People & Culture to get the changes made in the HR system. Once those changes have been made, they will be reflected in Pure within 24 hours.
