Module - Level 6 (20 credit module) CNO 002 Discovering a Nursing Career in General Practice
You're passionate about caring for others and interested in working within the local community. Starting – or continuing – your career in primary care is at the heart of this. Our new module aims to provide prospective candidates from nursing associate backgrounds an overview and insight into working within a general practice/primary care setting, developing the foundation of skills and enhancing knowledge impacting the delivery of local care.
Course Overview
Supported by highly experienced academics from within the field of general practice nursing, this module will provide the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of the primary care/general practice setting and how this differs from, but is essential to, secondary and tertiary care settings and provision.
Learning and teaching will be facilitated online via our innovative virtual learning environment, underpinned by the contemporary evidence base and utilising a variety of resources.
Distance learning ensures that your learning is flexible and can be undertaken at a time and place that suits you.
