Certificate - Foundation of Diabetes Care and Management
This module critically explores in-depth knowledge of the different types and diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The module allows a critical evaluation of evidenced based practices relating to diabetes care and management, developing confidence for students to care for patients with diabetes at a competent level. The module considers the impact of current policies and legislations on provisions for diabetes care. The module considers diabetes care from a service improvement perspective, promoting opportunity for students to improve patient care for patients with a diabetes diagnosis.

- Holistic assessment of a patient with diabetes.
