Information seeking skills are about being confident in searching for, identifying, collating and evaluating information from a wide variety of sources using different techniques, systems and resources.
Information management skills are about having a good understanding of the importance of research impact and dissemination, as well as being familiar with the legal, ethical and security issues surrounding scholarly outputs, open access and research data management.
