Course summary
This module is designed to develop your knowledge and skills to enable you to take on the role of clinical supervisor.
On successful completion, you will be able to:
- Critically reflect on personal knowledge, skills and attributes required for effective clinical supervision
- Demonstrate a critical appraisal of the concept of clinical supervision
- Critically analyse the process of clinical supervision
- Critically review contemporary research that directly informs understanding of and the application of clinical supervision to practice
You will need to complete an induction prior to commencement of your first module. We have a comprehensive online induction package to welcome you to both the university and your programme of study. Alternatively, classroom-based induction days take place at our Lancaster and Carlisle campuses and are usually scheduled for the first week of each semester.
