Short courses

We offer a range of one and two day courses in a range of project management subjects:

Commercial training courses

Project Controls training courses

This one-day course provides participants with an understanding of the project estimating process; a knowledge of establishing, maintaining and changing estimates; and an understanding of how roles across the project team contribute to the estimating process. Participants have an opportunity to practise the different elements of preparing an estimate through a series of case study exercises.

This course provides participants with an overview of project planning, monitoring and control including Earned Value Management. Participants will take part in planning and scheduling a project, contribute to the estimating process and resource planning, evaluate earned value data and the underpinning schedule information, and identify controlling actions during the project’s delivery cycle to resolve problems.

Project Quality training courses

This two day course provides participants with an understanding of quality management and why it is needed for project delivery. It provides an overview on what quality is and the safety, cost, schedule and reputational implications of getting it wrong. Participants will be able to apply the principles, tools, techniques and disciplines that deliver quality outcomes. It also gives participants an insight into how to measure quality and the application of root cause analysis techniques.
