Chaplaincy Rule of Life
Rule of Life
Chaplains try to model a way of life that promotes balance and self-awareness.
This involves praying each day, spending some time in nature, being aware of our use of technology and committing to protected times 'off-screen'. We are also committed to a life that involves listening: to ourselves, God and others. We believe that doing a bit less helps us to enjoy more and to access a depth of life that brings joy. Chaplaincy trips running from our Fusehill Street Campus in Carlisle all have the theme - Stop, Simplify, Connect - and are a way of lightly connecting with our rule. As we develop this, we would love to talk to others about it, so please get in touch.
