Year one
  • Market Dynamics (30 Credits)
    Critically examine strategic planning, innovation, and adaptive thinking in complex and dynamic business environments. Analyse the interaction between marketing and business strategy in competitive and global contexts. Evaluate marketing’s role in delivering customer value across diverse markets and apply strategic approaches that align with corporate objectives.
  • People Skills for Managers (30 credits)
    Develop the knowledge and skills required to manage people effectively in diverse organisational contexts. Integrate key concepts from Business Psychology, Human Resource Management, Organisational Behaviour, Coaching, and Positive Organisational Scholarship to enhance people management capabilities.
  • Sustainability and Leadership (30 credits)
    Explore theories and practices related to sustainability and leadership in business and other organisational settings. Critically assess the meaning and application of leadership for sustainability across global and local contexts.
  • Project and Operations Management (30 credits)
    Evaluate and apply contemporary approaches in operations and project management. Develop skills in integrating project management methodologies, applying financial principles, and formulating strategies for the sustainable use of resources to enhance competitive advantage and societal impact.
  • Business Project (60 credits)
    Undertake a substantial piece of independent research within the field of business and management. Critically engage with academic literature and research methodologies, demonstrating the ability to analyse and synthesise complex information and apply relevant research techniques.
