The Freedom of Information Act provides access to a wide range of information held by public bodies. It gives members of the public the right to request access to information, and places obligations on the University to respond to requests for information and maintain a Publication Scheme.
The University of Cumbria's Publication Scheme lists information routinely available on our website or can be requested.
You can also request information which is not already listed in the Publication Scheme.
Under the Freedom of Information Act you have the right to be told whether the University has the information and to receive a copy of the information (subject to cost limitations and exemptions).
Requests for information can be sent to:

Further information about making a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act can be found on the Information Commissioner's website.
