Module - Therapeutics and Pharmacology
The module aims to enable you as healthcare providers to use pharmacological knowledge to advance your understanding of, and your ability to manage, therapeutic care of individuals in relation to medicines.
- Review of core concepts such as pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics and the examination of your relationship with therapeutics
- The potentiating effects of other factors such as age and co-morbidity
- How information on pharmacology and therapeutic evidence base is communicated
- Contemporary issues and advances in pharmacotherapeutics.
